My work in the wine and food world has involved me with many major brands and organisations,
for example...
Hello, I’m Philippe Boucheron. Wine and food are my way of life, and I have been
writing and broadcasting about themall over the UK for over three decades.
In 1987 I began taking groups from the Sunday Times Wine Club and others, to vineyards
ranging from the Champagne region of France to South Africa’s Cape.
A former vice-chairman of The Circle of Wine Writers, I am involved in promoting
awareness of the health-giving properties of wine. And being keen on maintaining
the balance of nature, I enthusiastically support both organic and biodynamic wines.
As a regular after-dinner speaker, I know that people learn more by being entertained
than by being talked at. As a result my talks and tastings are instantly informative,
frequently fascinating and above all, fantastic fun!
It wasn’t the French who made Champagne possible! It was the glassmakers of Sunderland,
in the North of England. Find out more by viewing my YouTube video below. And for
detailed information on touring and tasting in Champagne, visit my online wine guide
and portal at DestinationChampagne.com
