My work in the wine and food world has involved me with many major brands and organisations,
for example...
A Little Wine and Food Chat
I enjoy few things more than sharing my passion for fine wines and food talking with
fellow gourmets. Could be about...
- Visiting the cellars in Champagne.
- Hunting truffles along the Loire.
- The truth about all those red wine and health tales.
- The pleasures and horrors of a wine tour guide.
- The châteaux and cellars of the Loire Valley.
- Burgundy and the Beaujolais.
- Bordeaux, the most important fine wine region in the World.
- South Africa; wines between the Old and New Worlds.
- The history of tea drinking in England – nearly 350 years old.
After dinner, or lunch, there’s 30 to 40 minutes of entertaining yet informative
fun, ending with questions from the floor.
In 1994 I was responsible for bringing Dr. Serge Renaud – the so-called father of
the French Paradox - over to London, to explain why the French eat a lot of rich
food and drink wine, but still have a low record of coronary heart disease!
