Wine Tastings
First let me share a secret with you – anyone can taste wine like the professionals
and I can show you how – Look under tips!
My tastings come in all shapes and sizes and range from serious tutored tasting of
scintillating Champagnes, fine Clarets, patrician Ports and elegant Burgundies, great
Mosels or carefree Californians – you name them, and I’ll lead you through them,
even Irish or Scottish whiskies, Madeiras and Sherries.
But by far the most popular are my competitive blind tastings where teams of two
or three compete to identify twelve to 18 white wines from as many countries of origin,
or seven or eight sparkling wines, again from as many countries – with bottles of
wine to be won by those first home with the correct answers. An hour and a half of
great fun wherever you across the UK.

Perhaps you could consider a regular wine course held in your premises over four
or five months. Ideal for groups of 16 to 18.

a wine dinner: carefully selected
four or five course menu with two contrasting wines served with each course – why
not start with an apéritif of a blind tasting of sparkling wines?
